Both seems distance learning degree's. You may pursue one regular and one distance/ correspondence program(which may not require migration certificate or TC).

Boiler operating engineer exam includes a written examination that consists of one paper in Mathematics, applied mechanics, heat engines in each subject and one paper of drawing followed by oral examination. We would recommend that you focus on both technical and practical aspects of these subjects in order to prepare for the exam.

UGC NET is conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects can appear for the exam. Those who have acquired post graduation from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.
