As per the official website, the tuition fee for BTech at IIT Jodhpur is INR 8 lakh. In addition, the hostel fee and one-time payment is INR 1.52 lakh and INR 11800. 

Yes, the branch can be changed at the end of the second semester. But, the student must meet the required criteria- a CGPA greater than or equal to 8.0 and 7.0 for SC, ST and PD applicants.  They must have completed all prescribed course credits for the first two semesters. 

For BTech, as per the JoSAA R6 2022 cutoff for general category students, the closing rank for popular courses like CSE was 2430, and 3257 for AI and data science. The cutoff for Bioengineering went till 14,933. In comparison to 2021, the rank for the CSE course went from 2897 to 2430 in 2022. IIT JAM 2022 closing rank in the Fourth Admission List for MSc Physics specialisation at IIT Jodhpur stood at 600.
