Hello dear, SBI stands for State Bank of India it provides many opportunities for young graduates as well as experienced professionals for accelerated career growth. The State Bank of India conducts recruitment annually, and aspirants are looking forward to the SBI exams for SO, PO and Clerk. Being the largest public sector bank in India, State Bank of India recruits new resources through the following SBI bank exams every year:
SBI Exams are conducted by the State Bank of India to hire eligible candidates for various posts like:
SBI Probationary Officer (PO)
SBI Clerk (Junior Associates)
SBI Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO/ SO)
SBI PO Eligibility Criteria :
The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the SBI PO Exam Age Limit : The candidate must be 21 Years to 30 Years Educational Qualification : The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination. Candidates with Chartered Accountant certification may also apply. The SBI PO recruitment exam is the most premier among the public-sector bank exams in India. It is considered a little difficult compared to the bank entrance exams conducted by IBPS. The recruitment process for Probationary Officers at SBI consists of 3 stages:
Preliminary Examination
Main Examination
GD/Interview

Most of the students prefer PSUs and so they write the examination through open recruitment and get a job at their own. It was 2010 or 2012 when the last company visited to recruit the MPMIR course students.
PS: In this course, there is no active departmental placement cell and the central placement cell of BHU doesn't allow MPMIR students to participate in the recruitment for many reasons. (Here authorities have ego issues bigger than its own students future. )
PPS: This course is good if you're determined to get a job by yourself through open recruitment. BHU tag will do the work. It's very disheartening to SEE we have plenty of alumni working with various PSUs ( alone Coal India has 120+ MPMIR alumnus). Till now 300 or more alumni are in the various PSUs. It's very unfortunate for the dept as well as the BHU central placement cell that they do not recognize the potential that the students of this course have. I can bet on that No single IIM will have that many alumni in a single PSU and still the BHU is not able to encash it.
