As of now, banks are very careful before sanctioning educational loans, because the default rate is extremely high. It is imperative for you to do your MBA from a reputed B School, to get your educational loan approved fast. If your loan amount is below Rs. Four Lakhs , banks do not ask for a collateral. As per the prevailing norm, any B School program approved by AICTE is eligible for an educational loan. Apart from nationalized banks, you can also look at www.credila.com . They are specialists in educational loans.
