Great to hear that you want to do your MBA abroad. Following is the basic procedure & requirements to study MBA abroad -
Academic you should at least have a basic Bachelors level graduation degree. This could be an engineering degree BE/B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, BA or in any other discipline. A full-time degree from a reputed university is preferred. However, some MBA colleges may also accept correspondence and distance education. You'll have to submit your academic transcripts which include semester-wise marks for each subject that was covered in your degree. Work experience - Work experience is one of the most important criterion for business school admission. Admission to the best business schools in MBA programs requires a couple of years of work experience. GMAT To apply for MBA from Abroad you have to clear GMAT exam which stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It is mathematics and the English language for measuring aptitude test that business schools use the test as a criterion for admission into graduate business administration programs. TOEFL - You should also have a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score if your medium of education during your graduation is not English. Once you are through with these tests you need to apply individually to all the business schools where you want to get admission for MBA course. Resume - A detailed Resume is an important part of the application. It should include all information of professional work experience along with details like position (s) held, achievements and scope of work. Interview - The interviews are usually informal and more of an opportunity to exchange information. The interviewer will try to judge the students abilities and interests in management and leadership. These could be with a business school representative or "third party" representatives, staff, faculty or alumni of the college or simply a telephonic interview. All the best.
