If you are opting for core jobs, you may take some courses related to your branch :
-Power systems
-Latest applications of Solar panels
-Embedded systems
-VLSI
-You can also opt for Mechanical branches such as Robotics and Humanoids and other mechanical applications.
For software jobs you can go for programming languages.

The Examination is divided into two parts:
1)Objective Type: It consists of questions on Vocabulary, Grammar and Literary Knowledge.

Why are you looking for a rich man's institute? There are so many University based colleges that are economical and highly reputed with great faculty. I think you just have to have an open mind and apply at other universities like Osmania, Hyderabad, Nitte University, Mangalore or Jamia. Some of them also offer scholarships. Check their websites.
