Certainly not one of the best keeping in mind that they have imposed quite strict rules for Indian students. Though you will get a good quality education job prospects are bad and visa chances are low. Go through some recent news articles on this matter for better idea. Check other countries like France, Ireland etc. ,which are more friendly.

Dear Semu,
Yes, there are 1 year Diploma courses in Australia for UG students provided by polytechnics there, however you will not get a post study work visa as the rule is that you should do a minimum 2 year course, so suggest you enroll for a 2 year Diploma. However if your plan is to just study and comeback then a 1 year Diploma is fine. Hope this answers your question; also please enroll in some reputed college or Polytechnic so that your chances of visa approval are higher. All the best.

Every branch of Science needs at least basic level of Maths. So, even in geology you need at least basic knowledge of mathematics. And, the rest depends upon you college whether it is mandatory to opt for Maths or not. So, please contact the admission department of your college for further details.

The last year opening and closing ranks of UCEED for all IITs and IIIT-Jabalpur as under:
1. General or and crores were 1 and 95 respectively.
2. SC or and crores were 2 and 37 respectively.
3. ST or and crores were 4 and 09 respectively.
4. OBC or and crores were 4 and 59 respectively. Further the highest closing rank was 95 in general category at IIIT-Jabalpur. So, from above trends, if continue this year also is very tough for above colleges.

The minimum eligibility criteria for WCC for B.Com (General) is 65% Marks in Core Papers in Higher Secondary or equivalent with Accountancy & Commerce.
The cutoff of this college is goes too high and someone who score above 95% can think about the admission.
