It needs lot of passion, patience and Creativity to become Animation & Game Designer. Ensure that you possess it. If you have it, then it is surely worth your time & effort. If you don't have artistic inclination, then surely you will land up becoming just a Software Operator.
Animation & Gaming is a very exciting & youthful Career Option. It is a demanding field which calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess.
