As far as XIME-Bangalore is concerned, the HR department is not booming really well. Nevertheless, things may change over time, so we cannot say anything as the market is very unstable. The teaching faculty, the companies visiting the campus are extremely good. Even the roles offered are pretty good. But, I cannot guarantee a high package in XIME. I am not too sure about IMT-Nagpur, but ROI for HR field is not up to the mark in XIME.

If your Mains exam didn't go well and board exam too, then you will not able to find a better college for B.Tech. So, I would recommend you to go for B.Sc. It will be good for you than B.Tech.

Yes!, Thapar scholarship process is a little bit odd. There are 2 kinds of scholarships. One is mean based and other is merit based. In the merit-based, students are divided into 3 categories according to their board's marks,
1.95% and above
2. 90-95%
3. 85-90%
From every category, they list out students according to their JEE Mains score. Scholarships are different in each category and also a number of students are also different.

Hi Harini,
Yes, you can get direct admission for Integrated M.Sc (B.Sc+M.Sc 5 years) in Padmavathi College, only if you a native from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There are 30 seats for direct admission in Padmavathi College. But, it is a self-finance scheme, which means the course fees will be little bit more than the regular student (admitted via entrance).
