Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) takes into account the performance of students in the Plus Two examinations as well as the Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) in determining the cut-off marks for admissions to its undergraduate degree, engineering, vocational and diploma course.
The cut-off marks are out of a total of 300. A student's marks in physics and chemistry in the Plus Two examinations is included and the percentage determined. This figure is added to the percentage of marks obtained in biology. This number is in turn added to the student's score in the TNPCEE (with 50 marks allotted to physical science and 50 to biology).
