Dear Burzin,
Both are exactly equivalent, B. E emphasize on in depth concept clarification of Facts. Where as B.Tech emphasizes on Practical exposure of conceptual Knowledge.
However Syllabus of both is Equal. Hence when applying for jobs they emphasize on practical knowledge more.
B.Tech is better than B.E. However, no one is going to care if you're a BE or a B.Tech. The one that matters is, how well you've graduated or worthy for the job.
#If you have any further quires, please ask.

Chartered Accountancy exams are conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. They are not conducted under any university / college.
There are multiple discussions on this forum about ICAI and you can check them to gain more insights.
