As per me, you should go for GATE because there is a lot of scope if you crack this examination. Only some students attempt this examination as the difficulty level is high when compared with the level of GRE.

Your rank is quite good. You will get NIT, though not CSE but you will get ECE IT and other branches. (I am not telling about the top NITs). You may even get a branch in BIT Mesra. You have quite a good chance in many colleges. So think wisely what you want to opt for and where?
