Hello Aditya,
Well, HBTI is taking admission via JEE Mains from this year, so we cannot predict the exact cut-off, but since it is a reputed college then the cut-off must be high, so any score more than 140 in JEE Mains is considered safe for the admission.

Firstly, I would suggest you to take up work post the BE course. This gives you proper hands-on corporate exposure with whatever you have studied. As far as the distance courses are concerned, be sure to check the reason why you would want a distance course. Is there any reason, like to enhance your practical or specialised skills in mechanical field for job prospects? Or is it altogether a shift, like a distance MBA? If anyway you are ready for further studies, my suggestion would be to get a couple of years of real-life professional experience. Figure out things and then make a move.

Try to read intermediate zoology, botany, physics and chemistry as maximum as possible and try to score more than 110 in AP EAMCET or in NEET with cut-off around 55%. You will get admission in a government college without any donation.

For your category, JEE Mains rank for CSE branch is under 20k in NITs and DTU but in IITs, you should score under 2000 rank for CSE.
