NTA, the examination conducting body is expected to declare the CUET PG 2023 results within a month or so after the successful conduction of CUET PG 2023 examination. The CUET PG 2023 Examination was easrlir to scheduled to be conducted from june 5 to June 17, but now extended. The new reschdeuled dates are June 22 to June 27 and June 30, 2023. Therefore, candidates can expect a slight delay in the announcemnet of CUET PG 2023 Examination.

Based on the last year's trend, it can be estimated that NTA will release the CUET result 2023 within three to four weeks of releasing the provisional answer keys. CUET PG 2023 Result will be declared on the official website, in the form of scorecards.

B.Sc. course at DPGDC is provided in 3 fields. I will tell you the Eligibility Criteria and details about each of them.

1. B.Sc. (Medical)

No. of seats - 80

Eligibility Criteria - 45% marks in 10+2 with 45% aggregate in English, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry/Geology as Compulsory Subjects from a recognised Board or any equivalent examination a se recognised by the university thereto.

2. B.Sc. (Non-Medical)

No. of seats - 400

Eligibility Criteria - 45% marks in 10+2 with 45% aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects from a recognised Board or any equivalent examination as recognised by the university thereto.

3. B.Sc. (Computer Science)

No. of Seats - 160

Eligibility Criteria - 45% marks in 10+2 with 45% aggregate in English, Physics, Computer Science and Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects from a recognised Board or any other equivalent examination as recognised by the university thereto.

DPGDC also provides B.Sc. Honours (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). The Eligibility criteria for this course is same as others.

I will share a few tips which will help you get through your college life:

1. Take your studies seriously: a lot of students think that college is all for fun and games but they realise in their final year that they should've taken their studies seriously.
2. Try to clear all your exams in your first attempt: try not to fail your exams and write atleast that much that will earn you passing marks, if not distinction. A reappear really puts a lot of pressure in the later semesters.
3. Try to form a good rapport with the teachers: they will help you a lot in case of your personal emergencies or reasons.
4. Attend lectures but bunk some as well: afterall, it's your college life and you should enjoy it well. Bunk a few lectures sometimes and enjoy with your friends.
5. Make friends with your classmates as well as students of other courses
6. Try to take part in events and competitions held.
7. Enjoy your college life: it is a one time experience and you should try to enjoy it, maintaining a healthy balance between studies and fun.

Throughout the year, SRMIST organizes a diverse range of cultural events that offer students an excellent platform to showcase their talents and embrace various cultures. Among the popular events are Milan, Tarana, Sarang, Poetry Festival, and Film Festival. Milan, a national-level cultural festival, encompasses dance, music, drama, and art competitions. Tarana, an inter-house cultural competition, presents events such as dance, music, drama, and art contests. Sarang, hosted by the Department of Music and Fine Arts, showcases dance, music, and art performances. Poetry Festival, organized by the Department of English, features poetry readings, competitions, and workshops. The Film Festival, organized by the Department of Media Studies, showcases a wide array of films, including short films, documentaries, and feature films. Alongside these prominent events, SRMIST also hosts numerous smaller cultural events that allow students to actively engage in the university's cultural fabric and gain exposure to diverse cultural experiences.

The quality of the mess food at SRMIST is average, offering various options to cater to different preferences. The menu primarily consists of Indian cuisine, with some international choices available. The benefits of the mess food include its affordability, filling nature, and convenient on-campus location. On the downside, some students find the food to be oily or greasy, and the portion sizes can be small. It is important to note that the quality may vary across different messes. Ultimately, the satisfaction with the mess food depends on personal preference. If you prioritize affordability and convenience, the mess food could be suitable.

Each subject carries 100 marks. The breakup of 100 marks is - 80 marks for the final examination and 20 marks are internal. 

These 20 marks include marks of attendance, projects and assignments, sessional examination and class performance. 

The sessional examinations are held once or twice every semester, depending upon the days left for final examination. The sessional exams cover approximately 75% of the total syllabus and are of 40 marks but the weightage of sessional exams is 5 marks in the 20 marks of internal. If the student fails in their sessional examination, they are not given another chance to improve their score. Their score is simply converted in terms of 5 and added to the 20 marks of internal.

As per the examination policy of SRM University Vadapalani (SRMIST), failing to appear for an internal exam will result in the student being ineligible for the end-semester university exam for that particular course. Additionally, they will not be able to register for the course in the following semester. However, there are exceptions to this rule. If a student misses an internal exam due to medical reasons, they can request permission from the Vice-Chancellor to take the exam at a later date. It is important to note that this permission is not guaranteed and requires valid supporting documentation. Attending all internal exams is strongly advised, but in case of inability to do so, students should promptly communicate with their professors to discuss alternative arrangements, such as makeup exams or other accommodations.

Failure to pass internal exams at SRM University results in the student being ineligible to appear for the end-semester examination for that specific subject. Since internal exams account for 60% of the total marks, their failure significantly affects the student's overall grade. In such cases, students are granted a supplementary exam opportunity in the following semester. However, if they fail the supplementary exam, they will be deemed to have a backlog in that subject. Clearance of all backlogs is a requirement for graduation. To avoid failing internal exams, attending classes regularly, actively participating in discussions, studying course material diligently, completing assignments, and utilizing available tutoring services are recommended strategies.
