The topic-wise break-up of questions asked in JEE is as follows:
Current Electricity 8

Current electricity is the most important topic of IIT JEE Physics. It always fetches a good amount of questions. In 2013, 8 questions were asked from this topic. Electrostatics is also an important topic which easily draws 4-5 questions. Various other heads which are equally significant include Laws of Motion, Simple Harmonic Motion, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics. JEE aspirants must focus primarily on these topics so as to secure their position in the prestigious exam.
