The most distinguishable difference is the probabilistic nature of quantum physics. In classical physics, all the parameters like position, momentum, time, etc are known exactly and absolutely. There is no uncertainty. But when it comes to quantum physics, we don't say "the particle is in this position". We say "the probability of finding the particle in this position is so and so". This way of looking at phenomena is inevitable in this realm and it can be used to explain a lot of things which couldn't be satisfactorily explained by classical physics.
