Unfortunately mahi you might not get IT branch (a very high demanding branch) in any IIIT since you are from general category and your percentile is below 90 so, there is hardly any chance for you to get any IIIT. Work hard and try next year. Best of luck for your future.

I am writing here only for Open category GN students
With this percentile, you cannot get CSE branch in NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathkol, MNNIT Allahabad and NIT Jaipur (in case of both HS and OS). You can get CSE in NIT Rourkela, NIT KKR and NIT Calicut if you have state domicile (HS), but OS cutoffs are generally high (99.5+) to get CSE in these colleges. You can easily get CSE in NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Durgapur, IIEST Shibpur, NIT Hamirpur and NIT Jalandhar (in case of both HS and OS).

At 53 percentile you are unlikely to get admisson into a top tier government college or top private collg. But there are so many cllgs for engineering so u can easily get admission into a private cllg based in noida, gaziabad etc. If you are not a resident of Delhi then you may secure seat in any private or state cllg in your area. Or else some top decent cllgs offer seats based on your 10+2 level n low JEE score like Jaypee noida. You can explore such options. Or else best decision would to take a drop and re-appear to improve your percentile incase you don't want to get into a private cllg.

With this Rank you not only get GFTIs, but you can also get IIITs. If you apply for CSAB Special Rounds after JoSAA Rounds. then you have very high chances of getting CSE or IT Branch in moderate IIITs.

Hello Aspirant, according to your rank, there is less Probability for you to get CSE admission in NITS and you have chance to get CSE admission from these colleges like IIIT Pune, IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Dharwad, IIIT Kurnool. If you have valid OBC caste reservation then you can get much more better colleges than IIITs but there is less probability to get CSE admission in NITs and don't lose hope, check the college predictor by using below link and prepare the colleges list for your JoSAA counselling 2020.

Dear aspirant, Basically the difference between different IITs and any other college (any stream) is their approach. Students at IIT are exposed to more different practical approach than others and hence the learnings are more efficient and effective and different from others. Second factor is the quality of faculty. Faculty members teaching at different IIT are top notch and have different teaching skills or method and this makes a huge difference. Apart from all this, students are also taught some extra subjects in different IITs which also make huge difference. In such highly competitive environment, students take that extra bit bec

As the rank is 64k I think it will not result anyone into a good NITs. Talking about new NITs, if the category is general, no chance but if anyone belongs to SC/ST then there is a great chance to get a seat in better NIT's. Just don't go through the tag of NITs/IITs, branch matters first. If anyone is not getting a branch of choice, then don't take any unwanted branch because it will lead anyone to the road of failure. Gather information of some good GFTI's also as they are much better than the new NIT's in terms of every aspect. All the best. Thankyou.

Hello Vamsi Karthik, with your CRL rank of 41573, I am sure you will get admission in one of the NIT's but can't guess about the ones in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. However, now that first session of JEE Mains examination is about to happen followed by second session in April 23, it's high time that you start preparing once again if you have not taken admission in any NIT. Once the second session is over, NTA will declare rankings and then market will be flooded with college predictors. At that time, you can check your Probability of getting admission in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. Best wishes to you.
