According to your rank, you have high chances of getting ECE branch in some good Nits but for CSE it seems difficult. You can still go for CSAB special councelling and try your luck there. You might get CSE in some lower Nits,But you will get good Gftis in CSE branch too.
Also above prediction is based on previous year data and cut off changes every year.

Hi Ashish, in order to get the IIT tag you need to pursue your B.Tech from an IIT. To be on safe side and to get a good branch try to score atleast 120+ marks in JEE advance though EWS cutoff last year was around 56 marks. But try to score atleast 120+ marks to get a good branch in a good IIT.

I am afraid your 76 percentile is quite low to get admission in any NIT and especially in CS branch. If one understands the percentile, then it is clear that 24% of almost 13 Lacs students are above you. But then there could be some dynamics in admission process which may enable you to get admission somewhere. No, this is not possible.

Dear aspirant
Glad to meet you. To be honest if you have got 16k rank in EWS let me tell you that its not possible for you to get a CSE branch in any of the NITs/IIITs so let me tell you that you should rather go for a private college like BITs Pilani, VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University. EWS means economically backward section. EWS rank is the rank among the EWS students only. For example, if 1000 candidates attended the exam and there are 100 EWS candidates; if you are better than 500 candidates overall and better than 50 candidates from EWS then your general rank is 499 and your EWS rank is 49. Hope it helps.

Hi! Hardik, Every subject is distinctive in and of itself and maintains certain unique characteristics. Focusing on your current direction, whether it be in your studies or another chapter of your life's story, is the most crucial and significant thing. And in response to your question about whether studying math alongside humanities subjects but omitting economics, I firmly disagree. Because it is the ideal mix to do so if you want to concentrate on government jobs. Regards, and thanks.

First of all, I Congratulate you for getting a good rank in JEE Mains. As you live in Goa, a good option for you is by grabbing the benifit of Home State Quota in NIT Goa. You can get a very good branch like ECE or EEE in NIT Goa if you have opted for it. So there is a possibility of getting CSE Branch in lower NITs only. You can easily get these branches in CSAB Special Rounds if you have missed these branches in JoSAA Councelling.
Whereas getting CSE Branch might be slightly difficult but still you have a chance of getting CSE in moderate NITs only in CSAB Special Rounds provided there are vacant seats still remaining in CSE Branches
