The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research accepts valid INI CET scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to MD, MS, MCh, and MDS courses. The INI CET 2025 cutoff for the January session has been released for Round 1, wherein the closing ranks ranged between 424 and 1055 for the students belonging to the unreserved category. So, considering the JIPMER INI CET cutoff 2025, candidates with a cutoff rank of 200 are eligible to get admission to MS courses at JIMPER. 

Tabulated below are the INI CET 2025 cutoff ranks for all the MS courses offered at JIPER for General AI category students.

In India, the most common and recognised degree for pursuing a career in surgery is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). This degree is equivalent to the MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree offered in some other countries. After completing the MBBS, candidates can pursue a Master of Surgery or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Surgery, which is a recognised postgraduate qualification for surgeons in India. Candidates can pursue postgraduate education in a surgical speciality. This is where they can choose to specialize in a specific area of surgery, such as general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, plastic surgery, etc.

General Eligibility (Open candidates): Applicant should possess at least one of the following qualifications: A. (a) Medical qualification: MBBS/BDS with minimum 55% aggregate marks or MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch. in the subject concerned or Diploma of National Board of Examination (b) Nursing Qualification: Candidates holding M.Sc. degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Nursing Speciality will also be eligible for Ph. D admission in College of Nursing. B. Non-Medical: Applicant should have a Master's Degree (two year's course) awarded by Indian Universities or equivalent in the subject as per requirement of the project. Candidates holding M.Sc. (Other than M.Sc. Nursing) M.Tech. degree, BAMS & BHMS will be eligible for the Non-Medical Qualification Category. Candidates having eligibility under non-medical category should have at least 60% marks in the last eligibility examination qualified. Candidates possessing Master's Degree through distance learning course shall not be eligible.

A Master of Surgery doctor is a medical professional who has completed advanced postgraduate training in a specific surgical speciality. This individual holds a Master of Surgery degree, which is obtained after completing the required coursework, clinical training, and assessments in their chosen surgical field.

A Master of Surgery doctor is a specialised surgeon who has acquired a higher level of expertise and skill beyond their initial medical degree (such as MBBS or MD). These surgeons are trained to perform complex surgical procedures, make informed clinical decisions, and provide comprehensive patient care within their chosen speciality. They are considered specialists in their respective fields and are often leaders in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of surgical conditions.

In India, the Master of Surgery course duration is typically 3 years. Master in Surgery is pursued after completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, which takes about 5.5 years to complete. After completing the MBBS degree, aspiring surgeons can apply for the M.S. or MCh programme in their chosen surgical speciality.

The 3-year Master in Surgery includes both theoretical coursework and practical clinical training in the chosen surgical field. The Master in Surgery curriculum is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in surgical procedures specific to the chosen speciality. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded the Master of Surgery degree in their respective speciality.

Students who are employed or have a hectic schedule, who are on a limited budget, who are unable to pass admission examinations like CAT, MAT, and XAT, or who are unable to enrol in a full-time MBA school can consider taking a distance learning MBA. The main benefit of studying an MBA by correspondence is that students won't have to change their professional schedules or have the curriculum have an impact on their professional lives. The learners do not have to divide their time between themselves and the best distance learning MBA programme because both of them can be managed simultaneously.

Inconsistent names across documents, like your 10th and 12th marksheets, can sometimes cause confusion during the admission process. However, it generally won't directly affect your JEE 2025 admission, as long as you have supporting documents to clarify the discrepancy.

To avoid any issues, it's advisable to:

1. Provide an affidavit: You can submit an affidavit or a gazette notification stating that both names refer to the same person.
2. Check with authorities: Before your JEE application, contact the exam authority or the college for guidance and to ensure all your documents are in order.

It's always better to clarify these discrepancies well in advance to avoid any last-minute complications during the admission process.
