The first is to try for pre-medical test . Secondly, you can opt for a masters degree in zoology , botany, biochemistry or other subject-depending upon your interest and eligibility as per marks obtained. Another choice is to go for a job in pharmacy / toxicology / . But the last ones may require a masters degree.

You can join Indian navy after completion of marine engineering by writing the CDS exam. CDS (Combined Defense Service) exam is conducted under the Civil Service.
The minimum qualification required is B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering. The exam takes place twice a year and the age limit is between 19-23 years.
CDS exam would include sections like English, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Mensuration, Geometry, Statistics.
