Each company has its own requirements and thus different shortlisting process.
The initial shortlist of CV's will be based on academic scores and other details mentioned in the CV.
Some companies do share minimum eligibility criteria in terms of scores, but others don't.
Once you are shortlisted your selection then depends on performance in the evaluation process.
