The college is very good for finance. The average package for the same this year would be somewhere around 4.3 lakhs.
There is a compulsory international industrial visit for PGDM students. The destination for the same this year is Germany and Switzerland.
Also we have tie ups with University of East London and University of Budapest. This is optional for those who want to go. Entire trimester 5 is spent there.
Thanks.

IMI Bhubaneswar uses CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores along with sectional scores and other academic parameters like marks in 10th, 12th and graduation for the purpose of shortlisting. The selection criteria are independent of CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores. It varies across the years just as the short-listing criteria and depends on the overall profile of the applicants each year.

Since you have 5 years IT experience, it is going to be difficult to shift to finance. Finance companies mostly look for people with relevant experience or freshers.
If you are really interested in finance then I suggest you go for 2 year MBA program and also do some certifications such as CFA level 1,2 etc. this will increase your chance of getting shortlisted by finance companies.
