there is no laptop particularly made for Science students. FYI. u can change ur question and ask for the best brand. Best brands are Sony, Lenovo, Dell, Tioshibha etc. Low Budget, then go for Acer.

There are ample career opportunities available in the Science section but one need to make a choice based on one's interest and capabilities, ranging from medicine, paramedics, dental sciences, engineering etc.
As for IIT JAM exam is concerned, it is conducted for the M.Sc and MCA courses, and to be eligible for the same you need to first complete your Graduate level.

In which subject did u do BA? MCA is into computers. If you have doen BCA, MCA will be a 2Yr course or else with any other degreee it will be a 3 yr course. For MCA, maths is a must.
