IHM is better than IIHM.
IHM is the part of the government body, while IIHM is a private institution. Generally, there are not much difference, as it all depends on you and the efforts that you would be willing to put into your education and learning. IIHM, being a private institution will get you more coverage. If you have a low budget, then go for IHM. Placements are good in both are good in both the colleges.

You can get the rank only when the result will be announced officially. Or, you can use rank predictor also. Use Shiksha rank predictor. Also, you can get the college, as your marks are good, but the cutoff is not released, so you have to wait. You can get the college, but if it is very near to the cutoff, then it might be difficult, and you are eligible for the Advanced exam. But, if you have score more than the cutoff, then the chances are high.

Hi dear,
Look, generally good institutes prefer students who have more than 60% throughout their educational career, there are others that accept 50% or above.
Few institutes consider candidates below 50% also but there are other parameters (like entrance tests, Interview rounds) as well that needs to be fulfilled.
Thanks and all the best.
