According to last year's cut-off, if you are a general category student then you can't as last year the last admitted rank was somewhere in 1300. But, you are SC/ST or OBC, then you can easily get it.

Hi there,For getting Mechanical Engineering in RVCE through COMEDK, and as you are non-Karnataka student so you should score minimum between 135-140 for being on safer side, as the cutoff of RVCE is very high, and also if you score this much marks, you can easily get in into some other good colleges too. Hope it helps.

In CBSE board of class 10th, you will be given the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average), which can be further converted into percentage by multiplying the 9.5. On the back side of the 10 certificate to rule has been given in which CGPA can be converted into percentage since in all other documents fulfill percentage is required so CBSE has given this flexibility to the students. Best of luck.

Hi Mihir!
I would't say it is a great rank. The possibility to get a college in IPU counselling is quite low, especially if you're from general category.

Dear Deepansu,
It's ones own interest and comfort choosing the branch.
Mechanical engineering is the core branch and In my opinion polytechnic deals with self learning personally and professionally.
You can go through their official website of the college also.
keep asking.
Remember one thing you should frame your own career.
