Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another. Generally, for a 2-year Diploma programme (DMLT) you need to have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized University or Board. There is no rule which debar you from appearing in Civil Services Examination and CAT simultaneously. Both are highly competitive and their syllabus for not overlap. If you have the will and self motivation to prepare for both examinations simultaneously, you may go ahead with your plan.

Dear, CGC may be a good college for B.Tech but there are certain private colleges and universities in Rajasthan that provide conceptual education with good practical knowledge in their respective subjects like Manipal University, LNMIT, Anand International college of engineering, Jaipur. So, in my opinion Anand ICE, Jaipur is the best choice for you for your 390 degree development after completing your B.Tech. degree. This institute provide excellent education with 98% placements of students in various well known companies.

As per my views, Presidency University may be a good option as being a private college in Bangalore, you will get all the facilities. Along with this, the placements are also good. So, you can choose this. But at last, it's your decision, so take it according to your interest.

Actually, it's definitely not required. According to the colleges in Bangalore, a minimum 50% is required to get through MTTM course and there is no need of any entrance exam like CAT and others.
