Yes, you can do no problem, but you have to take care about food technology because skillset is required in food technology. Here you can do from. B Tech in food technology and B.Sc in food technology M.Sc in food technology and also M.Tech in food technology. Then you can fill the form for MBA.

Hi,
With 60% marks you can go for any private college and moreover you might have given entrance exam in the past for Government Universities as eligibility criteria is 50-55% in most of the entrance exams but if you haven't given any of them then only private colleges are left to apply.But there are very less chances to get into the University u have mentioned with such marks.Anyways,All the best.

There is no different subjects in first year for all branches. All will have same syllabus throughout the first year you'll get :Engineering mathematics, engineering chemistry,Engineering Mechanics,FIT,Basic electrical engineering, elements of mechanical engineering,EvS, Workshop, Engineering Physics .
You can go for the following books to build up knowledge gradually and step by step:
. Strength of Materials (R.K. Rajput, Beer & Johnston)
. Surveying (S.K. Duggal, B.C. Punmia)
. Building Materials (S.C. Rangwala)
The last subject is quite interesting and it would be very good if you study it on regular basis.
