Just tell your mom if I screw up in engineering will you take guarantee about it or let me take guarantee about pursuing law. If this does not work out you should do a B.Sc. Or convince her about B.A. And the do 3year law. This way you will save 1 year of B.Tech degree, but same time you will then become lawyer in 6 years as opposed to 5 year law course.

Hi,
Basically right now you have just passed your class 10th, so focus on clearing your class 12th with good percentage and you can also sit for exam of IIT JEE so you will be eligible to take admission in good civil engineering colleges and if you really have and rather than focusing on college would recommend you to basically focus on the courses and developing your skills the more you take different courses apart from your own degree and the class 12th you will be you will have higher chances of getting good placement so focus on that and all the best.
