Candidates who have been assigned a merit rank in CEED 2024 are eligible for admission to the M.Des course offered by participating institutes. Note that in the case of CEED 2024, there will be no Joint Seat Allotment process conducted by IIT Bombay. Instead, the counseling process will be held at an institute-level by the participating institutes.

The counseling application will open soon after the CEED 2024 results are announced. Eligible candidates will have to go to the admission portal of the institute and fill in the application form. The participating institute will then shortlist applications based on the merit rank of the candidate in the CEED 2024 exam.

The particular repercussions and processes if a student fails internal exams at Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education may differ based on the rules and regulations of the institution.

1) Reappearance: During a subsequent test cycle, the student may be granted the chance to retake the internal exams that were unsuccessful.

2) Academic Warning: If you don't pass your internal exams, the university may issue you an academic warning or notice.

3) Remedial Actions: Students who failed internal exams may be offered remedial action by the university.

4)Probation: The university may occasionally put a student on academic probation if they continuously do poorly on many subjects or fail internal tests.

5) Course Retake: If a student fails multiple subjects or fails to clear the failed subjects within a specified period, they may be required to retake the entire course or specific subjects.

 It is important to point out that specific policies and practices may differ from one university to another, even if there are several programmes in the same university. For the sake of accuracy and up to date information regarding the consequences of not being able to pass Internal examinations, it is advisable that you consult officially issued guidelines by the Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Learning or contact the department of education at the university.

The candidate may note that the counseling application window for CEED is typically short. For instance, for CEED 2023, the counseling registration for the M.Desprogrammewas conducted by IIT Bombay from May 5-7, 2023. So, it is important that the candidate is ready and well-informed.

Before filling out the application form, it is recommended that the candidate downloads the information brochure and goes through the key points carefully. The brochure would have information pertaining to eligibility criteria, documents required, application fee structure, and case certificate. It may be noted that only such candidates who have been assigned a merit rank in CEED 2024 may apply for admission.

The participating institutes of CEED 2024 will offer admission to the M.Des courses based on CEED 2024 scores only. They will not accept scores of other entrance exams for admission process. Also, IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Seat Allotment Process or Counseling for the participating institutes.

On the other hand, result-sharing institutes will not participate in the Joint Seat Allotment Process. Instead, these institutes will conduct counseling at an institute-level. This means, the candidate has to apply directly to these institutes based on their CEED 2024 scores. Another thing is result-sharing institutes will allocate only a fraction of the seats for CEED 2024 qualified candidates. The remaining seats will be filled by considering scores of other entrance exams

In the case of Acharya Nagarjuna University's Centre for Distance Studies, CGPA calculations may vary according to the institution's specific evaluation system.

1) One for each course or class that you take, a special number of credits and corresponding letter grade will usually be allocated to you in order to achieve your points. For every letter grade, for example 'A', 'B' or 'C', the grading point is usually fixed. The number of points given to each grade letter is set out in the University's Grading Policy.

2) Calculate credit points: divide the number of credit hours allocated to each course by the grade points obtained for that course. You'll be awarded credits for each course from here on out.

3) Calculate the amount of points collected for each course: calculate the credit unit that will be used in each lesson.

4) From each course you've taken, calculate the total number of credit hours.

5) Calculate a CGPA: Divide your credit points into hours of payment so that you'll be able to obtain a CGPA.
