The degree that you are pursuing from distance is good enough to apply for Masters and/or jobs in govt. sector , provided the university/institution of yours is well recognized by Govt. of India regulatory authorities.
As degrees from distance are not a recommended option because they don't introduce you to the practical aspect of the respective stream to much extent, so we suggest you to pursue your Masters in regular, if feasible for you.

Though not the best of the options among engineering colleges but not bad either.
The institution is about average.
Last year's placements were 62% for all streams combined including On Campus and Off Campus selections.

And for their students they only provide assistance for the placements and no such guarantees for the 100% placements.
