It is compulsory to have a CET rank to take admission in IPU. No matter what is your rank (not good enough to take admission) you can easily get admission through VIP/management quota. Appx. 10% seats are available for VIP/management quota.
You have t6o pay some extra money for that seat and you will get admission.
