The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA process is used to place candidates at various engineering colleges throughout the state of Tamil Nadu. TNEA rank lists are used to offer admissions to candidates in undergraduate programs like Bachelors of Engineering (BE) and Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) in colleges in Tamil Nadu. The TNEA written exam has been scrapped as the counselling is based on Class 12 marks, and therefore seats are allotted in the colleges through the TNEA rank list. You need to register on the official website, after which category-wise rank lists will be announced. You can get admission for B.Tech (IT) in TNEA if your aggregate score is decent enough (130 or more) and you make it to the rank list released by the Directorate of Technical Education.

Dear Candidate, The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), now known as the Engineering, Agricultural, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test ( EAPCET), is a state-level exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. Qualified candidates are eligible for admissions to engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses offered at more than 425 institutes in Andhra Pradesh state. The qualifying percentage for this exam is 25% of the maximum marks considered for the ranking. 1- Candidates must have a recognised Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. The minimum aggregate required for reserved category is 45%. Backward classes and Person with Disability (PwD) belonging to Maharashtra state also need a minimum of 45% aggregate.
2-Candidates must have studied Maths in the first year of Bachelor's or during higher secondary level schooling
