To be eligible for admission to the B.A. LL.B. course at DDUGU, a candidate must have passed one of the following examinations or recognized equivalent examinations:

1. 10+2 examination conducted by the U.P. Board or CBSE or the I.S.C. Board.


2. Any other equivalent examination recognized by D.D.U. Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur.

The candidate must have secured:
- Not less than 45% of the total marks in the case of General and OBC candidates.
- Not less than 40% of the total marks in the case of S.C. and S.T. candidates.

The candidate shall appear in the Admission Test and shall be required to score not less than the qualifying marks, as prescribed by the LFTAC, from time to time, in order to be eligible to be considered for admission.

Provided that a candidate who is a foreign national, or a Non-Resident Indian (i.e. a citizen of India domiciled abroad) who has passed his qualifying examination from the country of his domicile shall not be required to appear in the Admission Test and shall be considered for admission in accordance with the other provisions of these Ordinances and the Regulations made there under.

To apply for B.A. LL.B. at DDUGU, candidates should regularly check the website www.ddugu.ac.in for authentic information related to admissions. They need to fill the form themselves and download the relevant documents from the University website. The application fee is non-refundable, and candidates need to apply separately for admission to each programme. The admission process will be conducted according to the latest available criteria of the Bar Council of India. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 45% marks in their final year examination (U.G./P.G.) for General, OBC, and SC/ST categories. Admission will be granted on the basis of the rank in the merit list together with the achievement of minimum marks in the LL.B. Entrance Examination.

(i) Transfer Certificate/Migration certificate from the College/University/Institute last attended indicating that he/she has passed qualifying examination from the University/Institute;
(a) has secured not less than 45% of the total marks in the case of General and OBC candidates and not less than 40% of the total marks in the case of S.C. and S.T. candidates at such examination;
At the time of admission, the candidate has to present all the original certificates along with their self-attested photo copies (Aadhaar card, mark sheet, Caste Certificate, Weightage certificate, Disability/Ex-serviceman/dependent of freedom fighter) Kashmir displaced Kashmiri Pandits residing in Kashmir valley/Ward of Kashmiri Hindu family/Kargil martyrs, Divyangta certificate, Transfer Certificate, Character Certificate provided by the Principal of the institution last attended, etc.) to the Admission Committee.
Original certificates regarding details of any category, sub category or weightage filled in by the candidates in the application form shall have to be produced at the time of admission.
The candidate will have to declare to the effect that there is no criminal suit against her / him and in future if any FIR is registered, his / her admission shall be liable to be cancelled.
It is compulsory for the candidates to produce the print copy of their application form and admit cards at the time of admission and so they are advised to keep them safe.

For reserved category students, the admission criteria for B.A. LL.B. at DDUGU is as follows:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates must have secured not less than 40% of the total marks in the qualifying examination.
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates must have secured not less than 40% of the total marks in the qualifying examination.
- Other Backward Caste (OBC) candidates must have secured not less than 45% of the total marks in the qualifying examination.
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the U.P. Board or CBSE or the I.S.C. Board, or any other equivalent examination recognized by D.D.U. Gorakhpur University.
- The admission will be based on the Admission Test, and the candidate should score not less than the qualifying marks as prescribed by the Law Faculty Admission Test Committee (LFATC).
- The reservation policy as prescribed by the State Government and the University will be adhered to in the admission to the course.

To get admission to B.Sc. in Agriculture at Gopal Narayan Singh University, the candidate should have passed I.Sc. Math/Bio/Agriculture or any other equivalent exam with 50% marks for Gen, OBC, EWS & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD categories.
