Smriti, let me tell you about design and it's various options. Design is a field that is age old & has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new & wonderful careers in design have come up. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Tec

The good colleges that you can apply for is BIMM Pune, Christ Bangalore and JIMS Delhi, since you have the required percentile in MAT. I'll suggest you to apply for BIMM, it has got excellent placement records for the batch 2013-15. They also have good infrastructure, experienced faculty and a good environment. I'll also suggest you to prepare for your GD PI, since that too is an important criteria for selection. All the best :)

Hi Jagriti,
You can pursue two courses at the same time only if the course mode differs i.e one should be regular and the other should be distance. If you pursue courses in the same mode and at the same time, only one will be considered as valid
Hope this helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
