Well, if you've heard for reliable sources like The Hindu or the Economic Times it is true. The salary at the top 3 IIMs are very high.
Before I mention the salaries, let me start by saying that there are two types of placements:
The Summer Placements: These are internships and salary may range from a few lakhs to even 10,000 per month and is for a period of two to three months. This internship may turn into a full time job based on your performance.
Final Placements: The type of job you get depends on your two years you spent at IIM, your grades, your extra-curriculars and internship. Your final placement salary may range from One Crore

Tejas, you do not need to pursue engineering for animation or vfx. If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. This is a field where nobody cares for your qualification, they only see if you can do quality work. In fact, the University Model has not succeeded in any Skill field across the world. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Op

Soumya, you'd have to take a call here whether you want to become a professional or need a job. if you need a job, then why are you looking for a professional vocation? There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. Hi Tomm, since Germany is an extremely competitive nation for studies , admission requirement vary from profile to profile. In Germany, medical education is quite different . Students directly enter into a medical school after 12th. Medical courses/Medical training in German medical schools span for almost 6 yrs. The standard of training is very high and quite affordable but mostly taught in German language. German doctors are also regarded highly everywhere including India. However, before you make a decision, decide whether you want to invest this amount of considerable time ( 6 years).

No doubt R S Agarwal is the best book to prepare for any aptitude exam but it will help you to crack only DI & Quats section. So for verbal ability, Reasoning, comprehension you have to refer other material I would suggest you to just practice few mocks so that it will help you to plan the time.
Then IBSAT is not a tough exam like CAT so don't worry much just do some mocks and also prepare basics for English.
I would also suggest you to practice Reasoning, vocab, comprehension via different free website where you will get enough material with solution.
All the best

Kishor, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company
