Hi Nishant,
Your CAT score is decent and is above last year cut-off of 80%ile.
Your chances look good for a call but I would be better able to answer your question if you could tell me a little about your profile, i.e your academic career, extra-curriculars and work experience(if any).
IFMR gives out calls on the basis of overall profile. Not just qualifying exam marks.
Let me know if you have any more queries. Hope it helps! Good Luck!

Hi, the minimum requirement that companies ask is 60% above throughout your UG and The MBA course , so if you are unable to fulfil this criteria , you won't be short listed for the interview process

Hey Saurabh, I'll get this fact clear about recruitment for you since I've been working closely with the placement cell, the company doesn't give a damn about your engg. score and if you have minimum CGPA around 5 or 6 in PGDM program, that it. The company nowadays focus on the candidates potential and attitude more than scores. You give me a call to know more about it @ +919980458537

Very few companies like TCS and Infosys have a criterianof 60%. Other companies generally look at your profile and skills and select you.
So I beleive that your chances of placement in the campus recruitement are pretty decent.
