Lateral Entry programme is an innovative programme, in which students who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. Degree or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks can take admission. Tech by giving an entrance examination called LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test). You can take admission to Polytechnic college to pursue this course. There are many Polytechnic colleges that offer 3-year Diploma courses. You can also study this Diploma in civil engineering course from a distance education mode. Its fee varies from college to college like in private college its around Rs 20000 to 50,000 per semester or in government college its fee around Rs 3000 to 10000.

Bioinformatic course can be divided into two levels at Undergraduate. The one can be B.Sc. And other is B.Tech. B.Sc. Bioinformatics is a Bachelors course which specializes in the Science of collecting and analysing complex biological data such as genetic codes. It is a field in which their interface between Biology computing, and Statistics is used in organism Biology molecular Biology and biomedicine. The eligibility criteria for this course require 10+2, with Physics Chemistry and Biology from any recognised board. Where as B.Tech in Bioinformatics is a four-year engineering course in bioinformatics, it is a branch in which one goes through the curriculum that includes the relation between the biological aspects, information technology, and computer Science. It is one of the branches of engineering that includes less of the production and development and more of the research. Potential students planning to pursue B.Tech in Bioinformatics needs to have an understanding of the basics in Physics Chemistry Biology and Maths. A student must have an interest in the genetics that is taught in the lower class since the curriculum of bioinformatics starts with the basics of biotechnology and genetics. One should also have a basic understanding in Biomolecules and biochemistry. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 or equivalent qualification from any recognised board Physics Chemistry Biology and Maths as major subjects); minimum aggregate of 50%. The admission are based on Entrance test.
