Your career choice should be based on the factors which are not changing or somewhat constant in your life and not on the changing factors. Now unchanging part is your "Potential" and the changing part is "Scope for the placement". No body can predict future with certainty, we would not know what will be the nature of the placement in the said streams 3-5 yrs down the line. At the moment both are good as far as placement is concerned.Further your placement is a function of your skills acquired during the course and it is more likely that you will do well in courses and streams in which your potential is higher.
Now these two career options require two different Potentials, Fashion designing requires more developed "Spatial potential" i.e. how well you can visualize, think in 3D and convert ideas into reality. and Event Management requires more developed "Personal Potential", i.e. how well you can recognize your own and other moods and feelings and how well you can lead people.
So my humble advice to you is to look into yourself and identify which potential is higher in you and also take parents opinion about your potential and then chose the course.

Those who are in senior positions holding designations such as econometrician/statistician, statistical analyst get salary around Rs. 6 00,000 – 9, 50,000 per annum.
Statistician working in universities and colleges get more income compared to other faculty members.
