Your career choice should be based on the factors which are not changing or somewhat constant in your life and not on the changing factors. Now unchanging part is your "Potential" and the changing part is "Scope for the placement". No body can predict future with certainty, we would not know what will be the nature of the placement in the said streams 3-5 yrs down the line.
