If you are in a good college you are already at the best place to begin. Work really hard on your communication skills, soft skills and technical skills. Initially you may not get offered a crore in beginning (only 1-2 get it due to extreme hard work and achievement). Take whatever best you get and grow by ranks to the desired level. Always choose Role over Payroll.

Both are equally good except govt jobs pay you miniscule. Pvt jobs are many and vacancy gets filled up over a period of time. Advise you to work for a pvt bank.

Engineering school has been ranked 66th among the top Engineering Universities and colleges LPU of India. LPU Engineering programme ranked 10th by World University Rankings 2022 #thinkbig.
