Admissions to engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu are primarily reserved for those having "nativity". However I am sure if seats remain vacant then Management's of the private colleges will force government to allow admissions to out of state students also. The average fee to pursue B.Com ranges from 10K-1 Lacs per year. You can try for government colleges, there you can get a reasonable fee structure too with scholarships, maybe. A high number of jobs are available for B.com graduates in industries such as Information Technology, Manufacturing, BPO, Telecommunications and Banking. It's very nice to know from you that you are interested in knowing your rank for the January exam of JEE Mains that you have appeared for but I am afraid this is not possible. This is so since National Testing Agency has already decided that they will conduct this exam twice in a year and ranking will be released only on the basis of best of two examinations. Hence individual ranking for the examination sessions in January and April will not be released but a combined ranking is likely to be released anytime soon before the end of this month.
