Embryologists most commonly work with physicians to assist their patients with reproductive health issues and clinical research. Clinical embryologists are responsible for retrieving eggs, assisting with in vitro fertilization, maintaining clinical records and running tests on eggs. They often work in hospitals and fertility clinics, but may also perform laboratory work or seek posts in academia.
Education Requirements
Embryologists need a bachelor's degree in biology or biomedicine and a master's degree in reproductive science or clinical science, though some embryologists earn a Ph.D. or M.D. as well. A few such scientists possess both a doctorate and medical degree. Courses specific to this field include biochemistry, molecular biology, endocrinology, infertility, genetics and in vitro fertilization. A bachelor's degree typically takes 4-5 years to achieve, while a master's takes an additional two years of study and a Ph.D. is another three years. Students pursuing a medical doctorate need to also complete residency and internship programs.
After completing this course you can work as a:-

- Senior Embryologist.
- Professors in Medical colleges
- Andrologist.
Experience Required:-In order to become as a Embryologist you must have working experience with Physician that involves Clinical practice or Research.

Choice of a University, your affordability status, GRE or English Language Requirements like TOEFL, availability of financial assistance and scholarship options are to be considered while opting for higher studies in US. You may need to arrange letters of recommendation from competent people If you're applying for a graduate or PhD program, you'll probably have to write a Statement of Purpose. Also arrange for transcripts from each post-school institution you attended.
The mantra to success is dedication, commitment and determination. Stay focused and work hard towards goal attainment. You will certainly reap results, remember hard work always pays off. Candidates wishing to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy need to complete their B.Sc. degree in mechanical or marine engineering, before they can gain admission to the field. In some cases, students who have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) are eligible to join as Deck Cadets. Navigating Officers - Candidates will need to obtain a Certificate of Competency, as per the regulations in India relating to the examinations of Masters and Mates. Conducted by the Ministry of Surface Transport, in association with the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) Mumbai, the examinations help determine the promotion prospects for the officers. For training, the best training institution for the navigating officers is the T.S. Chanakya. Candidates who qualify from here, that is complete their first certificate of competency of Second Mate, need to go through a three year training in Nautical Science (B.Sc.) and then complete a year's duration of practical training in the deck department of a merchant ship.Selection is based on the Joint Entrance Examination given by the IIT; a merit list is prepared after the written test and interview are completed and the Director General of Shipping has the authority to chose which of the 2 training programmes the candidate is best suited for (students can let their preference be known) Both the T.S. Chanakya and MERI institutions do help (under no Government obligations) in recruiting their graduates in suitable Indian Shipping Companies.As far as remuneration and other benefits are concerned Merchant Navy is one of the few careers where the salary is relatively high. The pay is definitely different from company to company, depending on the city, country, export and import needs, seniority etc.
