Eligibility for admission is minimum 50 percentile in any of the entrance exam like MAT, CAT, CMAT etc. And then you have to clear the AIMS admission process which are group discussion & interview.

Yes, definitely you can apply through AICTE registration and you will be in through CAP rounds. You can visit the college directly too and get enrolled through management quota. If you fall under any special category you should go for AICTE registration to enjoy the benefits. If no then enroll directly.
