Both are better.
It depends from college to college.
PGDM is an autonomous program which is approved by AICTE.
MBA is a program which is affiliated to a university.
Colleges which offer AICTE approved courses will also offer PGDM not MBA, for example XYZ College is affiliated to ABC University. They offer MBA course affiliated to that university, the same college is offering AICTE approved course which means that they are offering PGDM which is not linked to the ABC University.
Typically, if any PGDM is to be equivalent to MBA then the course duration should be 2 years, a 1 year PGDM will not be equal to MBA course.

Yes, you can get a seat at Sastra University. Your marks are good enough get a seat and think you can also get ECE branch for sure.
Those who have appeared for JEE main exam can apply to Sastra University through stream 1.
Your marks will be converted into percentile as below:
95(0.25)+95.2(0.75)=95.15
On this basis, the ranks will be put. I think the counselling starts from 19 June.
The website to apply is www.sastra.edu and the last date to apply is June 10. You also need to send a courier of your application form, 10th and 12th mark sheet (photocopy) and also the JEE score card (result page).
