Hi Omkar, It is difficult to predict anything in future which may be good or bad. Both the branches are good. Mechanical engineering is the old branch where as Computer
Engineering is not so old. Nowdays, Computer Engg. has a lots of jobs whereas Mechanical Engg. has more and wide range of jobs .While selecting any course, Your aim and interest are important. Always remember, You can not find everything positive and favourable in anything. Good Luck

Hi,
Yes, you may surely pursue MBA after completing your B.Tech, please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be GRADUATE in ANY FIELD with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
However, as per your query, I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing B.Tech and then opt for further studies.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which course to pursue that can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in technica
