Much like the music business, still photography as a career is seeing its toughest phase ever. Most print magazines and newspapers are facing tough competition from other media platforms and photography is one of the many department that have to bear the brunt. As per your query it seems that your long term goal is to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program.
So regarding this please remember the final selection in full time MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students. i.e. 50% marks in graduation.
2. Score in various management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.
5. Other activities like participating in various event like debates, quiz, extra curricular activities, etc.
