Well to be honest, there is no major difference between the two in terms of scope and opportunities. The only difference is that BSc is more of theory based such as theoretical knowledge, like principles, equations, and procedures and so on, which are used to develop new equipments, machines and also new inventions in Science and Technology; whereas B.Tech is more about practical application, which is an integration of engineering principles with technology.
In simple words,Both BSc. and B.Tech are graduate academic degrees awarded to aspirants who effectively complete the concerned professional program. BSc is Bachelor of Science whereas B Tech is Bachelor of Technology.
The key difference between the two is its course material and its orientation.
BSc is a more theoretical knowledge oriented course whereas B. Tech is a practical knowledge-oriented program.
BSc is usually a three year program, whereas B.Tech is a 4 year.
