Hi, First of all, talking about Thapar University itself, it is charging you a hefty amount for a degree, so it is bound to give you some decent facilities like hostels with pre-equipped gyms, AC facilities (although not for the 1st year students) and mess food that would be rated from bad to average. Talking about the 1st year students, they are allocated in non-AC hostel which too are way better than the other colleges hostels. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students have the options of AC and non AC rooms. So, if we conclude the hostels of college are way better than the other Engineering colleges. Good luck.
