Pursuing studies abroad is always a good option, the main reason for seeking a degree from abroad are:
- Getting a better quality of education.
- Improves career opportunities.
- Broaden international experience.
- Gaining exposure to different cultures.
However, please remember since pursuing education abroad involves a huge investment of time and money, so a proper research should be done to select the best universities offering course of your interest.
You should not simply pursue education abroad just for the sake of going abroad, because not all the universities abroad are good.
For pursuing education abroad, you need to first of all decide, in which country you wish to study, then you need to decide how are you going to finance your studies.

You need to meet the basic criterion set for becoming a lecturer in India. You should have a minimum of post graduate degree in the concerned subject.
To apply in universities or in colleges, the government has raised the minimum educational qualification level. You should have a doctoral degree in the related subject.
After completing your minimum educational qualification, you are required to undergo State Level Eligibility Test (SET) to apply in state colleges, and/ or National Level Eligibility Test (NET) which is conducted by UGC to apply in universities.
After clearing this examination you might have to face a personal interview at the time of selection of the candidates.

Hi Sumit. Yes you can get admission in January 2013 but the process needs to be on fast track. The deadline for visa application would be December 1st. So you would need to get admission for a program on the basis of your qualification and IELTS score card. What is your present qualification.
