One can go for CA, CS, ICWA, CFA, CPA, as these courses do not require to move out of the city and are on a self discipline based mostly. Apart from this, one can also go for MBA, Computer skills up gradation programs.

The Basic eligibility criteria to join Merchant Navy is:
Aspirant must have passed 12th class with physics, chemistry and maths as their main subject.
They must have completed their graduation in the field of Marine Engineering or Nautical Science to join the engineering or navigation fields in the merchant navy.
Candidates completing their graduation in Technical, Mechanical or electrical engineering field are applicable to join the Merchant Navy as Fifth Engineer or Engine Cadet.
