As a part of course we all had six semester and out of those six we had mathematics in four semesters. I will give my opinion in two parts, namely mathematics and other subjects (theory). Separate because I was good with mathematics and moderate with theories. For mathematics:
You will get marks for each and every valid step. No matter you reach final solution or not provided you are solving in the right direction. For other subjects:
What I think is, it totally varies with different exam checking examiner. I was not among those who were good with their writing skills. I used to write answers to the point. Still managed to get passing marks (more than 60% at least). And why I said it varies with different examiners, cause there were situation when I wrote very less in theory exam and got more than satisfactory score on the other hand when I wrote theory exam more than required (you prepared most of those questions in the last 4060 hours) you go straight to the examination hall and fill sheets cause you know that answer (no body can actually stop you from writing).

1] A Bachelors degree or a Masters degree with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelors degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of four years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
2] Applicants appearing for final year of the degree and those who have completed the degree requirements and awaiting results can also apply. The applicant should have secured an aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent till the latest exam that has been completed and whose scores are available.
3] CA/ICWA, with a first-class Bachelors degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10.

I think at the age of 15(ish), trying to define your professional career is a bit too soon, especially if you're thinking of being a graphic designer. I say especially because I suspect if the thought of being a graphic designer crossed your mind, chances are you are more on the creative, artistic, slightly impulsive side. This might make it harder to really focus and become disciplined and organized enough to make a good living as a graphic designer (or any job in general). You might also enjoy drawing, painting, ceramics, animations, etc. as all those things appeal to your right side of the brain. Until you have grown a bit more into adulthood, I would advise to rephrase the phrase follow your passion to explore your passions.
Now the good news is that you are showing initiative in thinking about your future, unlike me when I was in 10th grade. The things I wish to have learned then is organizing skill and self-discipline. Graphic Designers generally don't make a lot of money, and no matter how good you are at one particular software or skillet, chances are someone else is just going to blow you out the water completely in terms of technical mastery. So, to get ahead of the game, I think the important things beside honing your artistic prowess is to improve on the weaknesses that many artistic individuals suffer fromlack of self-motivation, impulsiveness, ineffective communication & interpersonal skill, etc. And learn to be efficient in designing.

The course duration is generally 6 months. But it varies from one institute to another and could be anywhere between 6-12 months. Eligibility

There exists many Government and Private colleges across India offering this course. Government colleges charge relatively lower fees than their private counterparts. Admission
